"Since completing the program, I have become more aware of which food my body needs. I shop seasonally and do my best whenever I can to buy organic. I don't think of food as calories any more, but instead nutrients. I no longer obsess about calories and weight and instead I think about what my body needs. I am completely conscious of what I put in my body and how it affects my every day life in terms of immunity, exercise, sleep and moods"

"There are so many recipes that I like, but the one that I truly incorporate into my daily diet is the breakfast quinoa and because I like to have something sweet after dinner, I always have some brown rice pudding stored in the fridge"

JASON GERHART
From as far back as he can remember, Jason has been an athlete.
From running in races along side his Dad at the age of 5, competing on his high school and college swim teams, to the numerous marathons, triathlons and half ironmans he has completed.
Sports and exercise have always played a crucial role in Jason’s life. After years in Corporate America, and seeing his own health begin to decline, he soon realized he needed a change. He decided to feed his life long passion for fitness and well being and help others lead healthy lives too. He has since been a certified personal trainer and endurance sports coach for nearly 10 years (now a USAT Triathlon Certified Coach), working with people of all ages and abilities. As an expert in his field he enjoys working with those looking for strength and fitness training—whether it is weight loss, general fitness and well-being, stress relief, or simply wanting to look and feel better. He has coached high school, college and professional athletes in speed and strength training as well as those looking to become triathletes or better their performance. This year he takes on the responsibility of being an ambassador for the SBR Multisport Triathlon Club.
